Who We Are
The Sinfonicron Light Opera Company is a student-run theatre company at the College of William & Mary that produces annual musicals and light operas. For 58 years, it has dedicated itself to producing high quality theatre that delights audiences and enriches the lives of students.
This Year's Production
We are thrilled to return to the historic Kimball Theater in Colonial Williamsburg for the second consecutive year for our upcoming production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore! First performed in 1878, the show remains one of the most influential musicals in history and tells (and satirizes) a story of British patriotism and love across class divides on the titular H.M.S Pinafore. New Location, Same Company
In January 2018, Sinfonicron bade a fond farewell to Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall, its home of 54 years, as it was closed by the College of William & Mary for renovations.
Despite this closure, Sinfonicron will continue bringing Williamsburg the quality theatre it deserves! We have moved to the historic Kimball Theatre, located at:
